About Ashley:

My name is Ashley, I am a Plant based chef who helps Vegans, transitioning Vegans and anyone looking to live a healthier lifestyle reach their desired goals.I have been vegan for 5 years and when I started my journey I found it hard to find foods that felt comforting and like I wasn’t missing out. My goal was to help others feel good about making the healthier choice without sacrificing flavor.

What motivates you to workout and live a healthy lifestyle?

My greatest motivation are my kids.

What does your workout routine look like?

I love practicing yoga so I start my days with 10-20 mins of yoga followed by some hit cardio in the afternoon.

What do you eat in a typical day to stay in shape?

I start my day with a glass of water followed by a key lime sea moss tea. My first meal is typically around 12 pm and it is usually avocado toast, açaí bowl or vegan eggs with plant based sausage. Around 3 pm I have a hearty snack this can be a smoothie or apples with almond butter. 6pm is dinner and my final meal I don’t have any restrictions on what I have it can be rice , pasta or any plant based meal. I finish my night with a cup of apple cider vinegar tea.

How do you maintain your hair while working out?

I try my best to wear my natural curls which hold better when I work out but when I do go for a blow out I wrap that baby up and put a baseball cap on.

What's in your gym bag?

Honestly..... nothing 🙈 I haven’t been to the gym since the pandemic started. I turned my garage and bedroom into my gym.

What are your 3 best health tips people can implement right now?

1 Drink lots of water

2 Stay away from processed foods

3 meditate daily (breathing exercises)
